K-9 Division

Blaine County Sheriff's Office K9 teams are professional working teams and are held to a high standard. The K9 teams train daily to maintain a high level of performance in drug detection, criminal apprehension, evidence detection, tracking, building searches and obedience. The K9 teams conduct public demonstrations at our local schools and other public areas to educate our citizens on what K9 units do and how they help protect the community. The K9 teams support the patrol division in searching for outstanding suspects, lost and missing persons, illegal drugs, and evidence.

The K9 teams respond to all burglaries, intrusion alarms and felonies in progress. The Blaine County Sheriff's Office currently has two K9's serving Blaine County. They respond to assist patrol deputies, investigation division, and outside agencies in and around Blaine County, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Our K9 teams are Undersheriff Denning and K9 Neo and Deputy Jones and K9 Jager. K9 Neo is a dual purpose K9 and is trained in drug detection, criminal apprehension, evidence detection, tracking and building searches. K9 Jager is trained in drug detection.
